    NYU Dataset

    Description

This dataset was compiled as part of a project to demonstrate variability in quality outcomes measure for NYU Langone Health Internal Medicine Associates sites for the preliminary data section of a collaborative grant proposal. For each NYU Langone Health Internal Medicine Associates site, the dataset includes information on quality measures for aspirin use, blood pressure control, cholesterol, diabetes, and smoking cessation as well as the existing quality measure already in use for reporting purposes, including Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

  • Precedex and Propofol Effect on Vasopressor Requirements in Reduced vs Preserved Ejection Fraction: NYU Langone Health EHR
    NYU Dataset

    Description

This dataset was compiled as part of a retrospective chart review of patients admitted to the ICU for septic shock requiring vasopressor therapy and precedex or propofol for sedation. Patient information is included in the dataset if the patient is over the age of 18 and was admitted with a diagnosis of septic shock and the use of propofol for sedation for more than 30 minutes within 48 hours of mechanical ventilation. Patient information is excluded from the dataset if the patient was diagnosed with mixed shock, was incubated outside of the hospital, or was administered with propofol bolus for rapid sequence intubation, pancreatitis, or hypertriglyceridemia. The dataset includes patient medication reference number, the length of the ICU stay associated with the diagnosis of severe sepsis with septic shock (ICD-10: R65.21).
