    Description

    This dataset was compiled as part of a study to evaluate the efficacy of losartan during 10 weeks of treatment for adults with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The secondary objective of the study was to evaluate whether subjects with the CC genotype at rs4311 in the Angiotensin Converting Enzyme gene (ACE) are more likely to respond to losartan compared to T carriers. This dataset includes the medical reference number and contact information for patients between 18 and 70 years of age with a current PTSD diagnosis. Patients with liver failure, renal failure, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder are excluded.

    Description

    This dataset was compiled as part of a retrospective cohort study to develop a method to identify diabetes patients. For both accurate provider performance and effective deployment of best practice alerts, it is essential for health organizations to have an accurate registry of diabetes patients. For patients aged 18 - 85, data from encounters between January 2013 and November 2016 were obtained from the NYU Langone Epic EHR. Data collected include (1) date of birth; (2) ICD-9 diagnoses from the patient's problem list; (3) ICD-9 diagnoses associated with billing from that specific encounter; (4) ICD-9 procedure codes; (5) results of A1C testing; and (6) all prescribed medications.

  • Ordering Patterns of Advanced Cross-sectional Imaging: A Retrospective EHR Review: NYU Langone Health EHR

    Description

    This dataset was compiled as part of a retrospective review of ordering patterns of advanced cross-sectional imaging. The review focuses on clinical encounters in which imaging was ordered in order to determine the characteristics of the encounter associated with such ordering. For each clinical encounter in which a CT, MRI, US, NM, or PET is ordered for an adult outpatient within the radiology department. This dataset includes the patient age, gender, ethnicity, race, insurer, language spoken, imaging modality, specific exam code, day of week and time of day of the image event, whether or not the image event is scheduled, whether the patient cancels the image event, or whether the patient does not show up to the image event. For the visit when the exam occurred, the dataset includes information on ordering specialty, ordering degree, day of the week and time of day when the exam was ordered, patient location of the visit when the imaging was ordered (e.g., emergency department, outpatient, inpatient), and the delay in days between the visit and the imaging event.

    This dataset was compiled as part of a study to compare long-term outcomes of a Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) after bariatric surgery. All patients in this dataset are part of the Bariatric Surgery clinical patient population. A control group of extremely obese patients who undergo immediate TKA will be compared to the test group, obese patients who undergo a TKA after bariatric surgery. Criteria for inclusion include a diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis, knee pain, and a BMI exceeding 35. Data pulled include date of birth and the patient's entire medical history.

This dataset includes identifying information on patients aged 18 - 80 seen at NYU Langone Health and NYU Brooklyn's Department of Neurology, the Internal Medicine Associates, and the Ambulatory Care West Side for migraines and multiple sclerosis. We would like to send them a MyChart message inviting them to participate in the study. We will then have a link to an initial RedCap screen and will then contact potentially eligible patients.
