The COVID Tracking Project
Alternate Titles(s): COVID Racial Data Tracker
- Description
The COVID Tracking Project provided national, state, and territory-level data on COVID-19 testing (PCR and antibody, and antigen tests), hospitalization (ever hospitalized, currently hospitalized, ventilator use, ICU admission, and total hospitalizations), and outcomes (all deaths, confirmed deaths, probable deaths, new deaths, and recoveries) within the United States and its territories. Data collection ceased on March 7, 2021.
There are two ancillary datasets: the COVID Racial Data Tracker, which includes disaggregated racial and ethnic data on COVID-19 deaths and positive cases from states and territories which collect this information; and the Long-Term-Care COVID Tracker, which provides data on the prevalence of COVID-19 in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. All datasets include cumulative daily counts.
