Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Survey
UID: 10152
- Description
This dataset consists of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth waves of a multi wave panel survey that studied newly licensed registered nurses who obtained their first license to practice between September 1, 2004 and August 31, 2005. It was conducted as part of the RN Work Project, a national study of new nurses funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The survey was conducted in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015. It asked nurses about their jobs, turnover, intentions and attitudes--including intent, satisfaction, organizational commitment, and preferences about work. Codebook and data are available for each wave of the survey.
