    This dataset supports a meta-analysis of spiral ganglion cell (SGC) counts and speech perception of adult patients with cochlear implants. A total of 13 studies were included and a PRISMA flow diagram can be found with the publication (see Associated Publications). Subjects were excluded from the meta-analysis if they were duplicate, had electrode insertions under 15 mm, or had unknown insertion depths....
