Replication Data for Research Trends of Vitamin D Metabolism Gene Polymorphisms Based on a Bibliometric Investigation

UID: 10684
Description
The investigators conducted a bibliometric analysis on academic literature indexed in Web of Science on the topic of vitamin D metabolism gene polymorphisms (vitDMGPs) to understand longitudinal research trends and identify areas for further study. The study scope included publications on vitDMGPs (CYP27B1, CYP24A1, CYP2R1, CYP27A1, CYP2R1, DHCR7/NADSYN1) from 1998 to November 2022. In total, the authors analyzed 2,496 articles to understand and analyze the overall publication output, top-cited articles, co-cited references, representation of scientific disciplines, and productivity associated with countries/regions, institutions, authors, and journals. A timeline of co-citations and a bibliometric keywords co-occurrence map can be found in the associated publication.
