Gallup Respondent-Level Data: COVID-19 Panel

UID: 10435

Since March 13, 2020, Gallup has conducted a web survey on members of the Gallup Panel, a nationally representative sample of U.S. adults aged 18 and above, to assess attitudes and behaviors related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

From March 13 through April 26, 2020, approximately 1,200 responses were collected daily from a randomly selected sample of panel members. From April 27 to August 16, 2020, approximately 500 responses were collected daily. Between August 17, 2020 and December 5, 2021, the survey was conducted monthly with a two-week response period. Since January 3, 2022, the survey has been conducted quarterly. Responses are adjusted for the probability of selection and for nonresponse, with weights derived from data on gender, age, race, Hispanic ethnicity, education and region as reported in the latest Current Population Survey.
