Cerebral Microbleeds and Leukoencephalopathy in Critically Ill Patients With COVID-19

This dataset contains information from 115 patients who were hospitalized at NYU Langone Health facilities between March 1, 2020 and May 10, 2020 and met the following inclusion criteria: had a positive SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) test, underwent cerebral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and were at least 18 years old. These patients were further assessed for leukoencephalopathy and cerebral microbleeds.
Data was collected through retrospective chart review with attention to clinical, laboratory, and functional outcomes, including but not limited to:
- D-dimer levels
- Platelet count
- Peak international normalized ratio
- Duration of hospitalization
- Duration of ventilator support
- Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) severity
- Modified Rankin Scale score
- Mortality
- Timeframe
- 2020
