- The global dataset includes aggregated and anonymized daily mobility trends using data from users who turned on Google's Location History setting from February 2020 through October 2022. Mobility data is reported on a national level and for smaller administrative regions (e.g. states, provinces) where available. Locations are grouped into 6 categories: retail and recreation, grocery and pharmacy, parks, transit stations, workplaces, and residential. Movement trends are reported as percent deviations (positive or negative) from baseline, which is a median value recorded between January 3 and February 6, 2020.
