NYU Dataset
Train-of-four test in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring: differences between hand and foot train-of-four
UID: 10328
- Description
- This dataset was compiled as part of a study to compare T1-T4 decrement between upper and lower extremity muscles as a way to investigate the difference between recovery time from a neuromuscular blocking agent (NMBA). The study analyzed the differences between recovery of the foot, abductor hallucis muscle, and hand, first dorsal interosseous muscle, by application of quantitative train-of-four (TOF) test on 147 patients undergoing lumbar spine surgery who also received an NMBA. Subjects were patients at the Hospital for Joint Disease, NYU Langone Medical Center, New York NY between April 1, 2012, and December 31, 2012.
