Selected vital statistics data can be downloaded in ZIP files along with a user's guide in PDF through the NVSS. Researchers may request restricted data files with individual-level information (micro data), exact dates, and geographic information from NVSS by submitting a complete Project Review Form with CVs from all individuals who will have access to the requested data files. Student applicants must also submit their advisor's CV and a letter of support.
