New York City Low-Income Housing, Neighborhoods and Health Study
- Data was collected from 120 residents from low-income housing neigborhoods in New York City. Data includes pre- and post- surveys measuring the feasibility of using GPS methods to study obesity and hypertension, data measuring participant adherence to the GPS protocol, and qualitative interview data from 21 of the 120 participants. Other data collected includes Body Mass Index (BMI) and blood pressure health measures, sociodemographics, and 1,358,610 unique data points collected from participants. Data also includes objective and subjective neighborhood characteristics (e.g. perceived food environment, census block group median household income).
